Frequently Asked Questions
- What is StreetPrint?
Replicating the warmth and beauty of hand laid brick, StreetPrint Pavement Texturing is a
revolutionary patented process for imprinting asphalt. On the surface, StreetPrint
looks like solid brick. It is actually textured asphalt bonded and sealed with a
protective base coat and then covered with a colored epoxy modified acrylic. This
protective coating gives the pavement added durability and acts as a superior sealant,
allowing for easy removal of oil and gas deposits. Protecting against LW damage, the
coating enables your pavement to withstand years of normal wear.
- What maintenance is required for StreetPrint?
Unlike conventional bricks, the StreetPrint process requires virtually no maintenance.
Weed growth is prevented through the non-porous, continuous surface structure.
This no-seam design also protects against water penetration and is not affected by
snow and ice. StreetPrint is made to last ... no matter what the weather brings.
- Can I change the color after the StreetPrint is applied?
With average use, StreetPrint Color Coat lasts up to 5 - 7 years, but it can be recolored
at any time. Now, changing the color of your driveway is as easy as changing the
color of your home.
- What patterns are available?
Burkholder Paving offers over 20 different patterns of StreetPrint. You can find
them on our Patterns page.
- What colors are available?*

* These colors are intended to provide a general idea of the color options
available. Because of the differences in how computers display graphics and colors,
they may or may not reflect the actual color of the finished StreetPrint product. A
Burkholder Paving salesperson can show you actual color samples.
- How much will it cost me?
StreetPrint can save you up to 50% compared to other decorative paving alternatives.
It is more expensive than regular asphalt paving, however, with StreetPrint you can
find accent patterns, numbers, and borders to combine with the regular paving and fit
almost any budget.
